FAQs / Help

How do I book my ticket?

Please visit our online booking system and choose the day you wish to come and your ticket type. View full Terms & Conditions for advance booking online.

Though pre-booking online is not compulsory, it does secure your place and is £1 cheaper per ticket than our 'on the door' admission prices. During busy days, if we have reached our visitor capacity you may not be admitted if your arrive without pre-booking.

I have a complimentary ticket or gift voucher, can I still use it?

Yes, just visit our online booking system and book your place.  Do bring the ticket with you when you arrive, otherwise we will have to charge you for admission.

I am a Member. Do I still need to book?

No, as Member you do not need to book. Just arrive at the Admission desk on any open date and present a valid Membership card at the Admissions Desk to gain entry to the Centre, otherwise an admission fee may be payable.

I have joined as a member recently but not have not received my card. Can I still visit?

As a Member you do not need to book online.  On arrival on the day of your visit, please quote your name and membership number (if you have been allocated one) as our admission staff will have a record of this and allow free entry. They may have your new card ready for collection.

I am a member, can I still bring a friend for half price?

Yes, this member benefit is in place and applies to adult/senior members only. One guest per member, per visit. Members and half price friends do not need to be pre-booked online. The half price admission fee for the Member's friend will be applied on arrival at the Admission Desk.

What time do I need to arrive?

Your ticket is valid all day long. Last admissions are one hour before closing.  Doors open at 10am. From March to October we close at 5pm. From November to February we close at 4pm.

Is the children’s play area open?

Can I buy food on site?
